π Gameplay Changes
This is a list of all the features that differ from Vanilla gameplay.
General
- PvP is off.
- Double doors will open at the same time.
- Only 50% of online players have to sleep to speed up and/or skip the night.
- You can use blast furnaces to smelt sand into glass.
- You can use a splash water bottle to extinguish a player or mob on fire.
- You can run faster on dirt paths.
- All crafting recipes are automatically unlocked.
Building
- You can break slabs individually while sneaking.
- You can now only make stripped logs using the stonecutter.
- You can also use the stonecutter to make other wood blocks, such as fences and slabs.
- The four unused paintings can now be placed.
- Waxed copper blocks are easier to spot in your inventory.
- When you unwax a copper block, you will get the honeycomb back!
- You can use crying obsidian in nether portals.
- You can shear an item frame to make it invisible.
- You can drop concrete powder (or dirt) into a water-filled cauldron to create concrete (or mud).
- To grow custom biome trees, plant the sapling matching the wood type.
- If you see spiral particles, you can use bone meal to grow the tree!
Enchanting
- Lapis Lazuli will stay in an enchantment table after you use it.
- When you have Mending on your items, any XP you gain will go to repair the lowest durability item (enchanted with Mending) in your inventory.
Anvils
- Cumulative anvil experience cost has been turned off.
- You can use hex codes (
<#rrggbb>
) to rename items in anvils.
Mobs
- Mobs cannot trample farmland.
- Enderman griefing has been disabled.
- Phantoms have been disabled.
- You can feed cows mushrooms to turn them into mooshrooms.
- You can feed a fox a white tulip to turn it into a snow fox!
- You can feed a snow fox an orange tulip to change it back to a regular fox.
- Creepers have a 20% chance to explode with confetti instead!
- You can shift right click to pat tamed wolves and cats! This also heals them 1-3 hearts! (60s cooldown)
Axolotls
- Axolotls will not target passive mobs.
- Axolotls can be bred using the tropical fish item as well as the bucket of tropical fish.
Villagers & Pillagers
- Randomly spawning pillager raids are turned off.
- You can use leads on villagers to transport them easier.
- If you hold an emerald block, villagers will follow you.
- The wandering trader no longer spawns naturally.
