๐ ๏ธ Troubleshooting Guide
Minecraft 1.20-1.21 versions are unfortunately very resource-heavy, and the use of optimisation mods and modpacks is highly recommended.
To play on our server, you can use any Java Edition version from 1.20 to 1.21.1.
Quick questions
- Minecraft doesnโt have enough RAM โ General Advice
- Minecraft runs slowly/slow FPS โ Recommended Modpacks
- I donโt think my computer can run Minecraft โ Try Simply Optimized
Minecraft Launchers
Installing modpacks and managing different minecraft versions can be very difficult when using the default launcher. Launchers like Prism Launcher and Modrinth App can make this process easier.
Modrinth App Easy
An easy to use alternative launcher is the Modrinth App. It comes with built in modpack search and Java installation.
Prism Launcher Hard
We also recommend Prism Launcher as a more advanced launcher. It makes it easy to install and update mods, as well as manage multiple versions of Minecraft and modpacks.
Recommended Modpacks
Fabulously Optimized
Fabulously Optimized comes with many optimisation mods that allow your game to run smoother and with higher FPS. We recommend this modpack because it has many features which aid a seamless transition to Sodium for OptiFine users.
Simply Optimized
If youโre not sure about your computerโs ability to run Minecraft, Simply Optimized is a modpack full of optimisation mods configured for maximum performance.
No Chat Reports
We recommend using the No Chat Reports mod on all 1.19.1+ servers due to the risk of blanket bans caused by Player Chat Reporting.
Player Chat Reporting is disabled on our server, and both Fabulously Optimized and Simply Optimized include the mod.
General advice
Minecraft runs with 2GB of RAM by default, and you may find this slowing you down. Allocating 4GB or more is recommended for better performance.
